Star Perfumer!
For The Office: "Clean but sophisticated fruity florals are uplifting but not overpowering - perfect for work," says star perfumer Jane Hendler, who has created scents for Jessica Biel. Mist perfume into the air and walk into it before dressing to keep the scent subtle.
For The Weekend: "Go for something more sensual and heady on days off," says Hendler, who suggests unwinding with soothing tropical florals (like gardenia) and comforting, creamy scents (like vanilla and honey). Apply a body lotion before spritzing. "Scents linger on moist skin," says Hendler.
For A Date: Pick sweet scents (think: tuberose) spiked with sexy base notes like sandalwood and patchouli. Says Hendler "They are known for their aphrodisiac qualities." Apply to pulse points 10 minutes before going out to allow the separate notes to warm up and mix together.
For An Evening Out With Friends: Look for citrus-driven scents or feminine florals, such as rose, with an amber or musk base. "You want something fun, but still a bit sexy," says Hendler. Spritz over hair for a slow release of scent during the night.
