Delightful and Distinctive
Not to be outdone by the East Coast, however, the perfumes from Ajne Parfumerie & Apothecary in Carmel, California are equally delightful and distinctive, and well, so very California. They are all derived from 100% pure essential oils and contain no synthetics, a delight to sensitive noses and skin alike. And they are every bit as distinctive and evocative of the West Coast as Bond no.9 is of the East. Désir™ is a rich, oriental blend that is at once both light and opulent. Dans l’amour™ is dainty and flirtatious, calling to mind beaches and sunsets and the presence of a beloved. Printemps™ is floral and light and easily addictive, making me want to slip on something that makes me feel as enthralling as this scent is. These scents are all beautiful and unusual, and I can’t wait for just the right occasion to wear each one. Ajne also sells scented drawer liners, and I practically ran to put them in my drawers so that my clothes would smell, ever so faintly and tantalizingly, of something captivating and feminine.
